U S S I C E N I

Ensign / 2nd Lieutenant - In order to attain this rank, as well as having an active email address, two of the following criteria must also have been met since you joined:-

 

1.   Held the previous rank for a minimum of 3 months

2.   Passed the OTS exam

3.   Submitted at least 1 article to the clubs newsletter

4.   Bought at least 1 piece of USS Iceni merchandise

Lt Junior Grade / 1st Lieutenant - In order to attain this rank, as well as having an active email address, you must have:-

 

Three of the following criteria must also have been met since your last promotion:-

 

1.   Held the previous rank for a minimum of 6 months

2.   Attended at least 4 USS Iceni meeting or Sci-Fi events where the chapter has had a table and you have helped at that table

4.   Submitted at least 4 articles to the clubs newletter

5.   Helped recruit at least 1 new member

6.   Submitted at least 1 article to the Region 20 newsletter (which only SFI members can do)

7.   Completed 6+ SFI exams in total, not counting the OTS exam (which only SFI members can do)

8.   Contributed items to the our charity tombola

9.   Received a USS Iceni Award

10. Bought  at least 1 piece of  USS Iceni merchandise

 

NB - A one off promotion from Ensign to Lieutenant Junior Grade can be made at the discretion of the CO

Lieutenant / Marine Captain  - In order to attain this rank, as well as having an active email address, you must have:-

 

Five of the following criteria must also have been met since your last promotion:-

 

1.   Held the previous rank for a minimum of 12 months

2.   Attended at least 6 USS Iceni meeting or Sci-Fi events where the chapter has had a table and you have helped at that table

3.   Helped out at least once at a USS Iceni table at a Sci-Fi event

4.   Submitted at least 6 articles to the clubs quarterly newsletter

5.   Helped to recruit at least 2 new members to the ship

6.   Submitted at least 2 articles to the Region 20 newsletter (which only SFI members can do)

7.   Gone above and beyond the call of duty to help another crew member

8.   Completed 10+ SFI exams in total, not counting the OTS exam (which only SFI members can do)

9.   Contributed items to the our charity tombola

10. Organised or hosted at least 2 USS Iceni meetings

11. Received a USS Iceni Award
